    With the 2023 year coming to an end, we wanted to send a note of thanks to those that have supported us during a year of significant growth.2023 was a very dynamic year in the resource space with many development stage companies struggling with inflation, a void of strategic project resources and access to capital.The gap between mining companies and EPCM consultancies continues to grow, and companies continue to seek our support to help “bridge the gap” and bring a new perspective to complex projects. We feel extremely blessed to have the support of our clients and that our employees have decided to grow their careers with Fuse Advisors.2023 Summary- Our team doubled in size, from 7 to 15 people over 2023 and saw no departures during a challenging employment market- Our contracts under management more than doubled and we finished the year with a strong backlog of work for 2024- Our client list expanded significantly with several new cornerstone clients, and as a result, we are involved in most of the major development-stage projects in Western Canada- We are actively leading numerous economic studies including a PEA, PFS and FS in across Canada and in the US- We are involved in strategic roles on three (3) major Environmental Assessments in Western Canada- We expanded our Technical Services offering with the addition of several Senior Mining Engineers and are actively supporting two underground development projects with short-range mine planning and an open-pit operation with mid-range design and scheduling - We supported numerous clients with M&A technical due-diligence, strategic project reviews and dynamic economic modeling 2024 Outlook- Continue to grow organically while maintaining Fuse’s high standards - Expand our Technical Services offering to include Process Engineering to allow us to support Owner’s with more diverse technical scopes- Expand our Integrated Owner’s Team Support to include Construction Management Services to support projects from concept to completion- Continue to grow our Study Management and Mining Engineering servicesWe look forward to another exciting year of growth at Fuse and want to wish you a safe and relaxing holiday season.Let us know if there is any way we can support you in 2024!About Fuse Fuse is a boutique consultancy, focused on providing value services to the resource sector in Project Management, Technical Services and Advisory.     EPCM services are quite common in the mining, power, refinery sectors. My domestic and international experience with EPCM and Owners includes petroleum, gold, silver, copper, cobalt, bauxite, lithium, rail, international ports, dam construction, underground and above ground construction. The most common challenge with all EPCM/Owner relationships is misalignment of common strategic objectives. Definition of Owner services required by the EPCM is key. Lack of an experienced Owners Project Management Team is a typical problem from the beginning and is a key transition for EPCM vendor to fill the need with onerous contractural language shallow responsibilities, risks to schedule scope creep and CapEx growth. Frequently, contractural relationships end with legal conflicts or objectives being missed, and relationships broken due to frustrations. In each case, projects are best served with clear DOR (Divisions Of Responsibility), common strategy alignment and building an integrated team with experienced leaders.
