Went here under the impression that it was a recreational dispensary since Google brought me here only to find out it's medical only. Then was informed that the entire state of Ohio doesn't have recreational dispensaries. This score is more for the Google search engine.

How are your doors even open? Still you literally run no specials ever all these other dispensaries do except for Guaranteed you guys should combine to try and keep your doors open. Places like y’all are going to switch to legal dispensaries in September because there’s no way you can make it as medical. Selections week and prices are outrageous.Update: they have Verano sativa reserve only place that has it. They have it on their website like you can get it and it’s out of stock. Take it off the website I mean, who’s running the show?

Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable, I recommend this dispensary to anyone with a med card. They remember you and make you feel at home, give great recommendations, and never disappoint. 5+ stars across the board, can't speak highly enough of the staff here!

The staff here are always super nice and welcoming, prices are really good. This store is my go to in the Dayton area, product quality never disappoints.

OK OK OK, I have to follow up my previous review because I'm quite honestly. Blow away. Sooooo they flippin' called me like " Sir so you got a bad product we would like to give you new. " lol yeah that doesn't happen anywhere else . Cause I bought the product 630 pm they closed when It was found out. Sad but awesome 👌 service. Tytyty esp for being so patient with me. My dog Eddy, and I visit Zen often! Everyone there is so friendly and great at their jobs! Never a long wait, and the herb never disappoints!

I bought a bunk cartridge from the neighborhood of trainwreck. The battery was brand new , then bought another battery so it was defective. Now I'm out like 40 bucks . Idk I'll ever return as I was sold the cartridge at 630 pm and never want to be in this situation again. Thanks

This is one of my favorite places to visit. The staff are so friendly and accommodating to me (I'm hard of hearing, greatly). When you walk in, they acknowledge you. When you walk up to order, they acknowledge you with a greeting and smile. When you leave, they also say goodbye. You literally couldn't ask for a better experience or better product selection. I'm here at least once per week!

Their prices are usually about double that of greenleaf, a half oz here is at minimum $60-$70 where zen leaf is usually like $30-$40. I also ended up waiting almost 45 minutes in the lobby when there was maybe 5 people in front of me. They're incredibly over priced, slow and inefficient. I'm not ever going back here, it's a waste of both time and money.

Easily the most friendly dispensary I've been to so far. And I've had my card since day 2 of the program and been all the way across Ohio to visit the first dispensaries, and this is still my favorite. I even went out of my way to let the manager know that one of their employees does an outstanding job in helping me figure out what i need because i have not seen that before at a dispensary yet. Even the front desk is very welcoming. I wish they were hiring, I would love to work here. 5/5.

I’ve been to quite a few dispensaries around me, but I always end up back here. The employees are SO kind and helpful! You are treated as if your experience is the only thing that matters. Also, if you have questions, there are many employees there that can accurately answer them. My #1 Ohio Dispensary!! I’d add photos, but photos are not allowed inside.

I am a little upset that I was talked into buying the Airgraft vapes (love them) but it seems like Zen Leaf has stopped carrying the pods after hyping it up so much.Now what am I suppose to do with a $40 battery?Please get the Airgraft pods back in stock, they are literally the best vapes and I haven't found anything else that compares.Hate leaving a 3 star for this place but I don't know how else to get their attention.Other than that I appreciate this dispensary.Will update review when I check back in a week or two.

Zen leaf has great deals and very friendly staff! Every time I go in they ask me how I’m doing and verify my order with thc %,name and weight! Codie is a great bud tender! She is very knowledgeable and stops to say hi to me even when she is not personally taking care of my order!

Jess usually helps me out. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and friendly. All the other staff are super great too! Good products at reasonable prices 🙂

Located just across from the air force base this place is great. The inside has a nice sense of design and quality. The staff are always kind and helpful.I've been a regular for over a year now and even with some new places closer I still choose to come to this location because they are so wonderful.I was helped by Alex today and he was great, the conversation with the front staff and the back are friendly and fun. This is one of the most comfortable experiences I can imagine.They put everything into a nice paper bag for privacy and send you on your way.

I've been searching for about a year for something that works for me without any luck. That was until a week ago when I met Codie! She recommended something for me that no one else had. I was so happy to find a type that works amazing for me. Now I can sleep again. Thank you so much Codie! I really appreciate what u have done for me.

Sales prices are only to get you inside, they will charge double and blame vendors. Staff is young so everything is "good" "strong" and "great". Overall it's an Ohio Dispensary in every way. All Products are regulated in strength. The employees are deflated being forced to lie to dying people about quality and price. It jumped high enough in 2 weeks to completely cut out hundreds of sick people. For extra fun, they stopped the Terminal Patient Discount. GREEEEEED at it's finest. No surprise who owns this now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully the folks who joined this industry to show true love and hope will get out and find another place. Plenty more are coming.This is the only one south Dayton. It won't last forever being a pack of wolves.. One love everybody.

On my initial visit, I met with Codie for a consultation. I really had no knowledge of what I needed. I felt very comfortable with Codie. She seemed honest and frank with me. I discussed what I hoped to accomplish and she recommended some products. I purchased some. Codie did not make me feel out of place at all which is kinda what I expected.

Overall it's an Ohio Dispensary in every way excluding the Management Staff which I found to be extraordinary and the kids that sincerely want to help you feel better.

I’d rather stand in for for hours than go to any other dispensary! The only time they have taken awhile to get to me is because they were busy! Seriously! Common sense people, if they’re busy it’s gonna take them a minute to get to you! Don’t waste your time going anywhere else! Mad River is the one and only dispensary I’ll be shopping at from now on. Big open lobby area for you to relax in and you can go in and actually talk to them about what you’re looking for, etc. (Only stupid part is that you can’t touch the product before you buy it. 🙄 Had to have someone read the labeling on the back for me.)

Great service, knowledgeable staff. Selection leaves something to be desired but that seems to be on trend with most dispensaries recently. Gets busy on fridays so I suggest visiting earlier in the week if you want to be in and out quickly. Overall a nice little shop.

Seems to be some kind problem with new owners. Used to be a good place to go. Now they make you feel like a criminal that really don't need. New ownership took something that wasn’t broke and “fixed” it. Have a dispensary 5 minutes away from my home, but always drove to Mad River Remedies because staff was knowledgeable, courteous and fast. They did what they could to get you in and out to carry on with your day. It was Mad River’s strongest selling point. Well the new ownership has put a halt to that. Seems like every time I go there are new hoops for the staff to jump through and a ton of people waiting in the lobby. The staff keeps telling us the new owners are trying to improve the customer’s experience. They have done just the opposite, and it keeps getting worse. Listen to your employees. They know what “experience” your customers are looking for far better than you ever will.

This place went from the best dispensary in town to being the worst. I shop here because of the fast friendly service that USED to set this place apart from the other dispensaries. Now I may as well go to the one closest to my house if I've got to wait anyway.

Customer service has gone way down hill. Sara is especially cold and rude.It use to be really efficient and friendly but now you’ll wait a lot longer to be treated a lot less welcomed.

I’d give it zero stars if I could.Went solely to this location about five times a week for the past two years. They sold me a half filled cart and then told me it wasn’t their problem! They ignored my calls and never got back to me. Cultivator said the same thing. I’m out $40 and have a rotten taste after dealing with their poor management. Employees are great though, trash management though. 🤷🏻‍♀️Drive the extra five minutes and go to Columbia care, they’re cheaper and they don’t short you.

My only complaint is I'm regularly seeing people act up in here and being removed by security. I thought weed users were supposed to be friendly, but the way I see customers behaving in this place tells me the complete opposite. The last time I was in here I saw a patient throw a glass jar at one of the budtenders!

I had a very bad experience with a new female they just hired. I didn't turn my phone down directly when they said to, so I got banned from the store. However, I did turn my phone volume down, I just didn't turn it down immediately, when they said to.

The staff was very knowledgeable, but the music was just a little too loud. I have auditory processing issues, and the loud music was overwhelming, especially for my first time in this store. I wasn’t sure where I was going or what I needed to ask for, and trying to figure that out while battling the volume of the music made for a bad experience. They have good stock, but I may see what other dispensaries carry before I commit to making this my go-to place.

I have been going here for about 2 years now. I don't go anywhere else. Manly due to its staff and flower products. The staff is super intelligent, helpful and caring. They remember your name and what you liked. Deals are always great. Enjoy the experience and freedom of conversation here. I refuse to go anywhere else. When I do it feels unloyal xD. They use my preferred name every time and are super helpful. They usually have a sale going on and I never have to wait a long in line. Almost everyone working there is cheerful and happy to help you get the right products in your hands. The new website sucks, hopefully they get it sorted asap.

I've been going here for almost a year. The products are good and service has been great! Until today. I placed an order online, and it came back declined so I tried calling. This place never picks up their phone so I figured I'd just call back to back. 4 times voice-mail the fifth time they picked up but didn't speak to me. Instead she spoke badly about me to their fellow workers and panic hung up when I said 'Hello?'. Now I realize the back to back calls would be annoying but I had questions; and as a person with severe anxiety to be cursed about and hung up on was a horrible experience. I counted the declined order as declined and instead went elsewhere.

Great deals on half gram carts i love the blueberry "the lab" brand stuff maybe franklin bioscience? Either way i went in for a bunch of the 20 dollar half gram carts and it turns out they had a 20 percent off sale too this is my go to place for the time being plus the flavors so far have been great and very effective. Also at the right time i got some disposables for 12 bucks each with a discount a great place to stock up

This dispensary has the best products in Dayton. The staff up front act like they are to cool to even make eye contact with you, but once you get past them, the bud tenders are friendly. If they only had curbside pickup.....

Everytime I walk in there's atleast 1 person walking out upset. I thought it was silly until I experienced it myself. Bought a luster pod starter kit via pre order. Went and picked up. Opened in my car, only to see the pod. So I go back inside and they tell me "oh its just advertised that way. You still need to buy the battery. But we don't carry any right now actually"... so I got tricked into buying something I couldn't even use.. this was Christmas eve, I was already in a hurry and had to drive to Cincinnati immediately after.. Safe to say my neck and back gave me pain all night. Then out of boredom just now I was looking at their site. I noticed they upcharge a lot of things other dispensaries in the area are selling for less.. for example. Right now on PureOhio's menu. They have .8 gram ice cream cake pod from klutch kannabis for 64 dollars. On madriverremedies menu. They're selling the .5 gram one for 64... and it's like that on a lot of their products.

The experience is nice, the people are friendly. They even have walk ins which is VERY convenient .. however their price is a bit high. Everything on their menu is 20% more expensive than the surrounding dispensaries. EX: Currently a butterfly effect luster pod at MRR goes for 70$Down the road at columbia care the same pod can be found for 55$.

Premium dispensary (now Zen Leaf Dayton) with outstanding leadership, knowledgeable / helpful staff, products and prices! The only patients that have issues are the patients that bring their own issues. Be kind, follow the rules, wear a mask and you will have fast and easy service, just like the hundreds of other patients on a daily basis. Two ATMs located inside, cash only. Feel safe with quality security that cares and is helpful. Regular near daily sales. Accepts both walk-ins and pre-orders.

The men there were willing to be kind. The woman working was very rude and mean despite the fact that I had my medical card and every reason to be there she refused me access despite my every legal right to be there. She was dreadful. I honestly am considering taking this to higher claims since there was no legal reason for her to deny me access... I get being petty, but let's be legal and professional about it.

Best dispensary in the Dayton Springfield area without question. Fast friendly helpful and knowledgeable. All the employees were very friendly and extremely accommodating. It was much more comfortable than most dispensaries I've been to in Ohio. No pressure no rush. A wide range indicas sativas and hybrids lots of great products very fair prices some days you can catch really good deals better than normal. I have to say that I couldn't be happier with my visit. It's the only dispensary I will go to from now on. Check it out he want me to disappointed

For the most part I love this dispensary because there’s a big enough parking lot to accommodate traffic and there’s actually a real waiting area to sit. However half the time they don’t accept online orders “due to extremely high volume” even when they have two cars on the lot. And they never, ever, EVER answer the phone...

I’ve been going here for a while now. I really enjoy this dispensary over the other local shops. The staff has always been very kind and helpful. Their selection is usually really good. My favorite thing about this store is you will very very rarely ever have to wait in a huge line outside, like some other places.

They are extremely nice and professional. They are also extremely educated with their products. It was my first visit and I knew nothing about any of their products and they sat down with me for a good chunk of time and explains things to me and answered any of my questions. The prices are also really good as well. They have a really good selection. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and it's the only place that I'm going to go.

!!! I couldn’t believe how rude this worker was being!!! Then their online menu is FALSE ADVERTIsem*nT!! The percentage online is higher than when you get the product in person mine went from 29% THC to 23% THC. Not to mention they stuck a sticker with the name of the strain I choose on a bag that was a strain I didn’t want!!!! They do as they please here and act like it’s no issue. Check your stuff when you go here, or BETTER YET SAVE YOUR MONEY GO ELSE WHERE
