The NBA division of the Marshall County Basketball Camp gets under way Monday morning at the Benton Junior High School gymnasium. The clinic, open to boys grades 7-10, will have registration at 8 a.m. Monday in the gym and camp sessions will be held from 8-11 a.m. daily through July 1. The clinic will be directed by Rick Leeper, Marshall County High School basketball coach.
Making guest appearances at the camp will be Coaches Fred Overton of Murray State University and Lawrence Smithmier of Paducah Community College, and Stan Key, a former University of Kentucky player. Leeper will also be assisted by Ray Cothran of South Marshall Junior High School, Bob Cothran of North Marshall Junior High School, and Howard Bess, assistant high school coach.
