Jinx Chapter 27 will see how the aftermath of the fight between Jaekyung and Kim Dan affects everyone around them. When the fight started and throughout the entirety of it, it didn’t look like Kim Dan will be able to land a single punch. And that was the challenge that Jaekyung had offered him, if he could land one punch he would win.

Doc was a little greedy with this agreement and asked if he would fulfill one of his wishes he did. Jaekyung being thebig-hearted personhe was, chuckled at the idea of him landing a punch and agreed. And the MMA was right to laugh at the suggestion and Kim Dan has no training to back his words.

And it is still unclear as to why Kim Dan thought it would be a good idea to take on an MMA champion. He had been able to land a punch on him only by surprise, and even that was in desperation. Looking back at it, the current events don’t even feel like they are from the same manhwa.

And that sudden change of ‘genre’ led to the exposure of a new side of characters that wouldn’t be seen otherwise. Sure, there could have been some fan art of them doing that but it hits differently when it is canon. And considering how complicated the relationship between the two is, this event set up even more events for the future that will further complicate matters.

Jinx Chapter 27: Kim Dan Defeated Jaekyung in Single Punch

Jinx Chapter 27 will also lead to the start of a new story arc as the last short one concluded with Kim Dan’s victory. A feat that seemed impossible given how much Jaekyung has tried to make Kim Dan as miserable as possible. He had pushed his mind to the very limit and cornered him more than once.

But there are times when someone shows their strength when they are pushed beyond their limit. And Kim Dan had a moment of awakening at that time as he was pushed to the very brink of the abyss. Jaekyung didn’t expect Kim Dan would retaliate in a way that would lead him to punch him in the face.

But that jab exactly set the events of the last chapter and even changed the relationship that the two had. Jaekyung realized that he can’t just push Kim Dan as much as he liked to, there is a limit to it. Moreover, he became interested in his personal affairs and the grandmother whom he supposedly lives for.

And when a call from the hospital came, Jaekyung decided to meet the grandmother and found out one reason why Kim Dan had been suffering all along. But for some reason, he decided to pay for all of his grandmother’s hospital fees. This in turn made Kim Dan finally loyal to him, however, Jaekyung is still curious about testing him and we got to see it through the fight in the last chapter.

Jinx Chapter 27: Kim Dan’s New Follower

Jinx Chapter 27 will have the coaches give a word of discipline to Jaekyung for abusing his authority. They left him in charge of the gym because he was the most famous, making him a perfect fit for the responsibility. They had no idea that things would turn out this way and that the talk over chicken will be a little lackluster.

However, they might never learn of the things that Jaekyung to Kim Dan in private. Or the fact that he has owned the man by paying all his debts and necessities. The one person on the right track of figuring him out was everyone’s favorite Potato, who stands at the weakest in the gym.

Potato was close to figuring out the truth when Kim Dan unintentionally made things complicated by entering into a fight with him. And given the price of it too to him, as a way to amend things between them. This led to Potato having all suspicion of how the two swing lift and respect Kim Dan as a man of dignity.
