Mi experiencia va más enfocada en el uso de herramientas digitales para crear o incrementar los modelos de generación de ingresos, herramientas como ArcGIS que ofrecen un todo en uno resultan útiles al tener también una curva de aprendizaje más corta. Al final no todo es para todos, si buscas desarrollarte técnicamente en el manejo de mapas QGIS es excelente opción; si buscas utilizar los mapas como parte de una estrategias más integral entonces ArcGIS es la elección correcta.

In my experience QGIS is just as stable if not more stable then ArcMap, also slightly more responsive. ArcMap is proprietary and limits access due to subscriptions, limiting companies ability to give access to all employees. Qgis is also very powerful for being free. In my opinion, ArcMaps and its subscription days are limited.
